
Limited Warranty
KOGIANT will provide 12 months warranty for the capacity 0.8Ah to 28Ah and full range of High rate battery,24 months warranty for 33Ah to 250Ah,and 36months for 300Ah to 3000Ah and full range of GEL battery,the warranty mentioned above is starting from the shipping date and under ambient temperature 25℃ +/- 5℃.
Conditions and claims procedure are set out as below.
Conditions
● The battery must be installed and maintained in accordance with the applicable KOGIANT VRLA battery Operation Manual
● A battery will not be considered defective unless it fails to deliver 80% or less of its quoted capacity during the guarantee period.
● Each battery must be stored, charged, discharged and stored in accordance with the Operation manual.
● User agrees that the manufacturer or his agent shall be granted inspection access with reasonable notice.
● Warranty period is reduced by 50% for every 10℃ increment above 25℃ (77°F).
● Warranty is void if temperature exceeds 65℃ (149°F).
● Warranty is void if the battery becomes defective due to fire, wreckage, freezing, neglect,abuse, improper transportation and improper operation or maintenance, and other damage contrived, parts of the battery are tampered with or modified or the battery is serviced by persons not authorized by KOGIANT Warranty is void if the batteries are used in conjunction with non-KOGIANT batteries.
Claims
● Contact original point of purchase for written instructions on applicable warranty claim procedure and send the relevant battery picture and detailed testing report.
● After confirming the defective batteries by KOGIANT or KOGIANT Local agent, the batteries will be repaired or replaced based on the original purchase price and the portion of the warranty term remaining to be applied towards the purchase of a replacement battery.
● If any battery be returned or exchanged and without written confirmation from KOGIANT. Any freight charges incurred are at the user's expense.
Limitations
The above mentioned guarantee is the only warranty and remedies provided by KOGIANT to the user for the defective battery confirmed by KOGIANT finally.KOGIANT disclaims all implied warranty of merchantability and fitness. And do not take any implicative or related responsibility.
Handling Precautions
Battery Charging and Handling Precautions for KOGIANT VRLA Batteries as Following.
● Never charge the battery in a sealed container.
● Never disassemble the battery.
● Never short-circuit battery terminals.
● Never incinerate batteries, for they may explode.
● Do not press and/or bend the terminals, or overheat them.
● Do not mix old and new batteries together, neither use batteries of different types or brands.
● Do not dispose of with household waste.
● Be sure to use the specified charger for battery, and follow the charging instructions correctly.
● Be sure to charge the batteries between the temperatures0℃/32°F to 45℃/113°F.
● Be sure to position batteries securely, protecting them from abnormal sh℃ks and /or vibration.
● Be sure to keep sufficient space between batteries for ventilation (where possible>10mm).
● Be sure to install batteries in a cool and well ventilated place.
● The surrounding temperature must remain between-20℃/4°F to 40℃/104°F during storage.
● Recharge the batteries at least every 6 months during storage.
● Be sure to consult KOGIANT engineers any time you are to use KOGIANT VRLA batteries for your products, or preparing your technical specifications of KOGIANT VRLA batteries.
